Pull Up A Chair To Your Scrapbook Table

By admin On September 17, 2009 No Comments

It can be so easy to underestimate the uses of a scrapbooking table, but research has indicated that having a comfortable working space helps keep your brain in focus and also helps with your motivation and inspiration. A scrapbooking table is not just any ordinary table that you can overlook, but a comfort zone that acts like a time capsule while you work on your scrapbooking chores and themes.

The Benefits of a Scrapbooking Table

The noted benefits of a scrapbooking table are namely the privacy and stability. Privacy in terms of a scrapbooking table means that you are in your own world working on your own private thoughts. It is a protection bubble brought about by the mere action of looking at your pictures.

Addiction To Scrapbooking

By admin On February 17, 2005 No Comments

Being addicted to scrapbooking is a good thing. ‘Why?’ you might ask. It is because scrapbooking is good for a lot of things. It is a nice way of preserving memories and you can scrapbook anything!

You can scrapbook about your brother’s bachelor party, your niece’s summer wedding, a grandchild’s christening, the prom or even the time you went to the Bahamas. It is also a lot better than just having a photo album.

You, like me, might find that photo albums are a bit boring. That is, once you have seen a nice scrapbook. What is great about scrapbooking is that it is not just for pictures.

You can include:

  • journals
  • invitations
  • drawings
  • ultrasound
  • pictures
  • cards

You can decorate the layout by layering the pictures with card stock and stickers.

Using ribbons, stamps, and charms to decorate them are a fun way to add a nice touch. That is what makes them so interesting and fun to look at.

Free Scrapbooking Tips

Some of the best free scrapbooking tips one can learn involve goal setting! Yep, you read that right. There are so many aspects to scrapbooking, so many supplies and pages that it’s nearly impossible to complete a great scrapbook without goals. Learn more about setting scrapbooking goals below.

Goal Setting For Scrapbooking

Always set goals that are reachable and make small baby step goals – reach them and make more.

Remember you are only human you may forget so write them down. If you don’t reach your goal pick out what you did well and how you can improve on it next time. Don’t overwhelm yourself with the big picture; focus only on small attainable goals.

Write our specific goals at the beginning of each year. These goals could include:

  • Amount of albums
  • Budget
  • Specific Albums You Will Complete
  • Baby – 1 7×7 for each set of grandparents
  • Pregnancy – 1 for baby, 1 for yourself
  • Vacation –
